GENERAL SPECIFICATION FOR
This specification has been approved by the
Bureau of Aeronautics, Department of the Navy.
SCOPE

1.2 Scope - This specification covers the general requirements for aircraft heating and
ventilating systems.
Classification - Aircraft heating equipments shall be furnished in any of the

following types, at the discrimination of the aircraft manufacturer, unless otherwise required
by the detail airplane specifications (See 6.2).
