6.4.1 First article samples. First article samples should be sent to the Naval Air Systems
Command, Code 4.6.2.2, Bldg 2187, 48110 Shaw Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-5304.
6.4.2 Completion of the first article inspection. Applicable inspection reports and when
applicable, recommendations and comments pertinent for use in monitoring production should be
forwarded to the Government quality control representative. One approved connector will be
returned to the manufacturer for use in monitoring production. The other connectors will be
consumed or destroyed in the first article inspection and will not be considered as part of the
quantity to be delivered under contract.

6.6 Changes from previous issue. The margins of this specification are marked with
vertical lines to indicate where changes from the previous issue were made. This was done as a
convenience only and the Government assumes no liability whatsoever for any inaccuracies in
